i-hzshSpJ-X2Elizabeth honed her love of all things food, retail, and business growing up in a family owned-and-operated bakery in the deep south. She developed a knack of selling cookies and bread to anyone who walked in the door, and learned the value of strategic marketing early on.

“I believe in the brand – the story – the reason people keep coming back, time and time again. The connection you make every time someone buys your product or service, and why. For me, it’s all about the relationship.”

Elizabeth has extensive experience in retail and online sales, entrepreneurship, business development and operations, production management, training, strategic marketing, advertising and communications. She’s worked for some of our favorite companies over the years ~ Saks, Inc. the New Orleans Hornets, Gymboree, Inc. some of DC’s most notable restaurants – Georgia Brown’s, J.Paul’s, Paolo’s, Tony & Joe’s, Boss Shepherd’s ~ and many more!

She has served in a variety of civic and community organizations, to include: The National Cherry Blossom Festival, Board of Directors; Educated Eats (formerly the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington-Education Foundation), Board of Directors; Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington, 2010 and 2011 RAMMY Co-Chair; Destination DC, Marketing Committee; Destination DC, Partnership Committee; Greater Washington Fashion Chamber of Commerce, Chair of Board of Directors; Georgetown BID, Marketing Committee; Les Dames d’Escoffier; Washington Business Journal’s 40 Under 40.

Elizabeth received a bachelor’s degree is Business Management from The University of Alabama’s Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration in Tuscaloosa, and a Masters in Business Administration from Loyola University in New Orleans.

Washington, DC is home, though Alabama will always be “home sweet home”.
